Day 1: Arrive Phoenix
A transfer is included from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. Join us for a welcome cocktail reception and dinner tonight.
Overnight: JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, Phoenix, AZ
Meals Included: Dinner

Day 2: Sedona and on to the Grand Canyon
The vibe in Sedona is inspirational and humbling. Whether you are seeking the feeling of well-being and balance that is said to emanate from the town’s natural energy fields or you wish to experience the scenic beauty of the stunning red-rock landscapes that earned its designation as one of the most beautiful places on Earth, you will soon see why Sedona continues to attract travelers’ – and movie makers’ – attention. Join us for a guided walking tour of this mystical place and enjoy lunch on your own. America’s Canyonlands sets the stage for the week’s travels with some awe-inspiring sights on your drive through Oak Creek Canyon to your lodge on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Choose from fine dining at El Tovar, or more casual fare at the Arizona Room or Bright Angel Café.
Overnight: Kachina Lodge, Grand Canyon National Park, AZ
Meals Included: Breakfast, dinner

Day 3: Grand Canyon and Lake Powell cruise
The Colorado River chiseled its way down the sandstone strata of the Grand Canyon, over one mile deep and 277 miles long, on a journey that has lasted millions of years. You may wish to start your own journey just a few steps from your lodge with a Grand Canyon sunrise, a truly magical spectacle that defies comparison anywhere! A local geologist is on hand today to share expert insights on the canyon’s history and ecology, before we cross the Navajo Reservation and the Painted Desert en route to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area for a two-night stay at Lake Powell. An interpretive lecture precedes a true highlight – a private Lake Powell dinner cruise aboard the sleek double-decked yacht Canyon Princess.
Overnight: Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas, Page, AZ
Meals Included: Breakfast, dinner

Day 4: Flightseeing and more at Lake Powell
The Glen Canyon Dam took 17 years to fill up Glen Canyon, transforming the Colorado River into 186-mile-long Lake Powell! Fringed by fjord-like canyons, it’s one of the largest man-made bodies of water ever created – there’s no lake like it on Earth. With Tauck, you’ll be able to see its hidden wonders by air; an included 30-minute morning flight* showcases incredible views of the red-rock sculptures found here – including Rainbow Bridge, the world’s largest natural arch, about the same height as the Statue of Liberty! You’ll be able to see more of nature’s architecture up-close on an optional four-hour flightseeing excursion and tour to Monument Valley,* available at an additional cost (see Monument Valley Option). Embark on an off-road adventure* to explore some of the incredible sandstone slot canyons in the Navajo Nation – among the most beautiful in the Southwest, hidden to most visitors – where beams of sunlight put on an amazing show.
Overnight: Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas, Page, AZ
Meals Included: Breakfast, dinner

Day 5: River Float Trip and on to Bryce Canyon National Park
This morning’s float trip* on the muddy waters of the Colorado River takes you through Glen Canyon; your experienced river adventure guide imparts a wealth of knowledge about the canyon as you glide past colorful walls of Navajo sandstone. Utah’s iconic landscapes have served as ideal locations for movie and TV westerns over the years; view them on an afternoon drive to Bryce Canyon National Park – a wondrous land of pines, pinnacles and oddly sculpted formations known as hoodoos, resembling the towers of fairy-tale castles. Magnificent spires, tinted with shades of pink, orange and red, put on a captivating show as the light changes throughout the day. Keep an eye open for the park’s abundant wildlife, including elk, coyotes, marmots, and prairie dogs, as you explore the park from your sought-after accommodations at The Lodge at Bryce Canyon. Listed on the National Historic Register, The Lodge is nestled in a forest of towering ponderosa pines in the heart of the park.
Overnight: The Lodge at Bryce Canyon, Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 6: Wonders of Bryce Canyon & Zion
If you rise early this morning, you’ll be rewarded with an awe-inspiring Bryce Canyon sunrise, as the light of dawn slowly spreads across the hoodoos and other unique geological features steps from your room at The Lodge at Bryce Canyon! Spend the morning at leisure, perhaps venturing out on one of the park’s renowned hiking trails to observe a great variety of bird species, beautiful wildflowers and diverse wildlife. After lunch, journey across southwestern Utah to Zion National Park, where colorful sandstone canyons and 3,000-foot-high palisades tower above the lush greenery of the canyon floor. The park’s shuttle system and network of hiking trails afford easy access to its key geologic features. Thriving vegetation includes cottonwood trees and dry desert plants; wildlife ranges from mule deer to hundreds of bird species. Spend the night in cabins at the restored Zion Lodge, the only hotel accommodation inside the park.
Overnight: Zion Lodge, Zion National Park, UT
Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 7: Zion National Park and a finale in Las Vegas
The morning is yours to explore Zion’s diverse geological features at leisure; its dramatic peaks and cliffs, odd geologic formations, desert oases featuring abundant pools and waterfalls, and mighty canyons splashed with vivid colors are all equally compelling. The Paiutes believed this place to be the home of their coyote spirit, Sinawava, while early Mormon visitors referred to it as “the natural temples of God.” Highlights include a trio of peaks known as the Three Patriarchs; the Emerald Pools, fed by waterfalls cascading over the canyon walls; and the veil of spring water trickling over Weeping Rock. Depart Zion National Park for a memorable journey across the vast, colorful vistas of the northeastern Mojave Desert. Then get ready for a bit of culture shock as you arrive in Las Vegas, Nevada – a city that truly never sleeps, offering non-stop entertainment and fancifully themed casinos. Your accommodations at the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas provide easy access to the Strip and an intimate haven for overnight relaxation. Join us for a farewell reception and dinner as our journey to the Canyonlands comes to an end.
Overnight: Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, Las Vegas, NV
Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 8: Journey Home
Tour ends: Las Vegas. Fly home anytime. A transfer is included from Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. Checkout time is 11:00 AM. Allow a minimum of two hours for flight check-in.
Overnight:
Meals Included: Breakfast
